Fanwork Policy for "The Shadowbearer's Curse" by Jasmyn Morning

• Creation: Feel free to create fan art inspired by the characters or worlds within the Chronicles of Song Crye series.

• Non-Commercial Use: You may sell your fan art (prints, merch, etc.) as long as it remains at a non-commercial level (e.g., small-scale artist sales). Any fan art for sale must include the word "Unofficial" to avoid confusion with official merchandise and art.

• Credit: When sharing or selling fan art, please include a credit line such as:
  
  "Inspired by the Chronicles of Song Crye series, by Jasmyn Morning."

• Restrictions: Fan art must not be sold on a mass or commercial scale, nor can it be incorporated into any official products without written permission from the author.

• Writing & Sharing: You are welcome to write and share fan fiction set in the Chronicles of Song Crye universe. 

• Non-Profit: Fan fiction must remain non-profit. It cannot be sold or made available for purchase or monetized, whether as individual works or part of a collection. Fan fiction cannot be published in book form (digital or physical) for any financial gain.

• Attribution: Please make it clear that your fan fiction is an unofficial work by including a disclaimer such as: “This is an unofficial fan work based on the Chronicles of Song Crye series, by Jasmyn Morning. No infringement is intended.”

• Re-use of Official Material: I encourage fan creativity, but direct copying of long text passages from the Chronicles of Song Crye books or tracing official artwork is prohibited. While brief snippets of text (such as quotes or phrases) are fine for use in fan art, longer passages or significant sections of text should not be copied without permission. Similarly, fan art should be original and not traced or heavily copied from official illustrations, covers, or promotional material. I ask that all fan creations reflect your own interpretations and creativity while respecting the original works.

• Respect the World: Please respect the spirit and integrity of the world and characters in Chronicles of Song Crye. I ask that any fan works remain respectful and align with the tone of the original series. As such, any fan art or fan fiction that includes hateful, harmful, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, works that promote or depict racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, pedophilia, sexual violence (SA), or any form of discrimination or hate speech. I reserve the right to request the removal of any fan work that violates these guidelines or that I deem harmful or disrespectful to the community.

• No Endorsement: All fan creations are considered unofficial, and their creation or distribution does not imply endorsement or approval by the author.

• Tagging: If you would like to tag me on your work on social media, please feel free to do so :)
